Let me tell you, this book is a time hack!
I read a lot of self help, motivational and inspirational books, but this book really changed my life. Atomic Habits by James Clear is a time hack. He opened my mind to the concept of "progress" and the compound change of 1%. I have always neglected small changes, procrastinated my whole life and now after reading this book I can say that I have developed some new and useful habits (like drinking more water).

So funny. Before I clicked on your video I actually wondered if it could be Atomic Habits! Definitely a game changer. Helped me through lockdowns too: I've been learning Spanish and going for walks throughout and I kept similar habits since.

The book sounds like a nod to cognitive behavioural therapy to me. About changing habits and behaviours. Prefer the philosophical myself. Something with a bit of spiritual depth.

The system sometimes is pretty straight forward: just replace your favourite drink for water. A research by Harvard University mentions in a research paper that only water, tea and coffee are safe to drink, so get into the habit (system) of drinking any of these three on a regular basis, although the safest one is definitely water.
Spanish saying: el agua aclara la vista.
Perhaps we should not take that saying literally, but it is a good guideline.
So message to any binge drinker, forget your bad habit and find a social network that boost your healthier yourself.
