Top 20 Extinct American Steam Locomotives Part 1

This is the long awaited list I've been planning to do for a couple months. This is part 1 of the top 20 extinct American steam locomotives. This video was inspired by people who have done their own extinct steam locomotive lists. The footage for the C&O T-1 and J1 were done by Mogami. So credits to Mogami for helping me out with footage in trainz simulator. Also a Big thanks to BDvid's for helping me narrate his part of the extinct list. The video was edited by Windows movie editor and iMovie and the music was provided by the same.

8. Cotton Belt 2-8-0.
9. Central of Georgia Big Apple.
10. Erie & Virginian Triplexes.
11. Boston & Maine R1 4-8-2.
12. D&RGW 2-8-0.
13. New Haven I-5.
14. Norfolk & Western Y6B.
15. Union Pacific Early Challengers.
16. Milwaukee Road Hiawatha 4-6-0.
17. Southern Pacific GS-2.
18. Western Pacific GS-64.
19. Illinois Central 4-6-4.
20. Rock Island Railroad 4-6-0.

So I looked more into if there were any New haven steam locomotives still in existence, and come to find out, there's one locomotive still around, which is number 3025, which was preserved and in service as of 2019!

well there are a lot of preserv and funchinable 2-8-2 macodoes in Colorado on the D&RGW RR on the Drango & Silverton Branchline

I totally agree with you about the southern ts class 4-8-2 the better place for the southern 4-8-2 is the Tennessee valley railroad museum

I only have a Ho sckile modle of an EMD FT a unit diezal locomotive, but it looks like a stander EMD F 7 A unit or any fother uint in that mater I don't realy see the differins in the units

If New Haven 4-6-4 Hudson No. 1400 was restored to operating condition in 1987, That'll be great to triple-headed with Frisco 4-8-2 Mountain No. 1522 and Union Pacific 4-8-4 Northern No. 844 for the trip to St. Louis, Missouri for the 1990 NRHS Convention.
