Iglesia, if that is what it says on the lables for the photos, means Church. So at least two of the three buildings in the photos are now churches.
As I may have mentioned before, I met a geologist that went there, as a tourist, but from his observations, he felt that the site many have been built well before the last ice ages, then, as the lake rose, it was submerged for thousands of years, only being rediscovered in the past few thosand years as the lake receded to where it is now.

The small statue is still in Tiwanaku, by the square, in front of the church as it is in the photos. The statues, as well as the stones that make up that church, were taken from the archeological site of Tiwanaku, which is part of the reason that so much is destroyed. All the Iglesia photos are of the same church, which is still there, and was the original entrance to the town of Tiwanaku
That doorway is on Isla de la Luna in Lake Titikaka, still there
I believe some of those imagined reconstructions
The "Palace of the Inca" is (I'm pretty sure) on Isla del Sol, and looks the same today as how it was drawn. It's considered the first Inca building, along with the one on Isla de la Luna

I also think Puma Punku and Tiwanaku were port buildings, because the rear of Puma Punku there are a group of steps leading down to the ground and the bottom few steps have heavy water erosion. If it was rain, you'd expect the whole staircase to have the erosion, but it's only the bottom few steps. It's very similar to Venice where they have steps into the water that boats pull up to and people can get out. The steps allow the boats to access the platform whatever the water level is at.

All of the old buildings have sunk into the ground. There is more underneath the ground than what is on top.

Fascinating! I am not wholly convinced that carbon dating is always accurate.

We know what happens to priceless artifacts - they disappear, never to be seen again, and wind up in rich guy’s private collections. You know, like Jeffrey Epstein’s “palaces”.

I've thought for a long time that Tiahuanaco was a port. I also think that Puma Punku was a dock for ships that sailed around Lake Titicaca, the tide mark along the shore and on the surrounding rocks show that it was once a LOT deeper and more extensive than it is now so there actually quite a strong case for it being a port city. I'm actually so intrigued by the place I'm thinking of spending a few months or so there, do a bit of freelancing and see what (if anything) I can discover.

Charles, you mentioned Poznaski was from Poland. Have you looked into the magnificent Poznaski Family Palace in Lodz? It is now a museum.

"Southern Russian" indeed. Starting around 700 ad or so there was a kingdom in the Caucasus region (Georgia / Chechnya) called Khazaria. A certain Khazar king wanted to benefit commercially due to his kingdom's position at a crossroads of trade routes so he converted the entire kingdom to Talmudic Judaism. This is the origin of European or "Ashkenazi" jews.

At the 7:16 minute mark (the photo of the local indian is standing next to a portal door) you ask "where is this?" - and I know where it is! The photo shown was taken on the Isla del Luna (Isle of the Moon) in Bolivia; the island is in Lake Titicaca, and is about 45 miles northwest of Tiwanaku (as the crow flies). The original photo is an exact match to the one that I took at that same location during my trip there in 2001.

Wow Charles that was incredible. I wonder what it all means!?!? It's truly hard to comprehend all of this. The truth, in my opinion, is always way, way crazier than fiction.
