This short video is an ultra-crash course in advanced CG production workflow using Alembic.

We will export a simple model Hierarchy from Industry-standard Maya
Animate it in Blender, Add Procedural Geometry FX in Houdini, Assemble the scene back in Maya, using Arnold Alembic standins leveraging alembic’s powerful feature called Layers.

Hi, I’m experiencing an issue with Alembic animation in 3ds Max where my character’s movement only updates every 4 frames. For example, the character takes a step on frame 1, but then I have to move to frame 4 to see the next step. This results in a choppy animation where the walk cycle isn’t smooth. How can I adjust the animation or settings so that the character’s steps are closer together, eliminating the gap and making the animation fluid? Thank you!

I have an alembic file with animation. I load the file with alembic archive but how I can reduce scale to 0.01
