Got the vacuum hooked up now. Just replaced the condenser and dryer. My compressor was replaced when I thought that was the problem last year. (It wasn't)
The hardest part is waiting the first half hour to hour to make sure no leaks.
Also it's mist coming out of the vacuum most likely.

All in all you video had the info I was looking for.

Now I have to go reinstall the grill and brush guard

Cool and informative video, Jonny! I'm gonna try fixing my mini fridge so I watched this one like you suggested. For the fridge I only need to connect the :"Low" side, right? I'll watch again to be sure but wanted to make certain with you, in case I missed something. Again, thank you for posting this! How did you learn all of this, it's very helpful and good to know! Also, I have subscribed and liked!

Thanks for the info Johnny! I have completed the final vacuum of one hour to remove all the air in my system. Instead of connecting my refrigerant to the yellow hose, can I just connect it directly to the low-side port of the car using the hose that is connected to my refrigerant can?

Nice video! But my system won’t go down below zero but it holds a vacuum ? It’s about 4 notches above 0. Can I add Freon ?

Thanks, I have a 1994 Toyota 4x4 DX truck. it leaks gas over about 6 months. do I have to pull a vacuum before charging it or can I try just charging it? I bought a "pro cold kit, it says it stops leaks, I also bought a red angel stop leak stuff to try if it leaks out. would it be best to try to seal the leak 1st, if it seals then vacuum it out? thanks

So I recently had to change the ac condensor due to a collision. Should I pull a vacume even though I lost all the refrodgerant?

I do not understand keeping the valves on the gauge manifold closed. If you close them, aren't you just seeing the vacuum in the gauge manifold? I would think you would want to leave the valves open... maybe close them, connect the yellow hose back to the manifold tightly, then open the valves again to be able to see if the vacuum is holding in the car's ac system. I guess I do not understand what the valves are opening/closing. Do the gauges always show what is going on on the hoses? Do the valves just control the opening to the yellow hose?

If I don’t have access to vacuum and my refrigerant is empty
What is danger of filling without vacuuming first?

After pulling the vacuum, instead of this method, will it be okay to add refrigerant using those tall refrigerant cans (AC Pro, EZ Chill) with the hose and gauge?

Is it possible to have a good vacuum and still be low or out of refrigerant?

When you vacuum out the air do you open both gauges or leave them shut

If you don’t do it right would it blow up?
