Good video the process of controlling the low side valve wasn't covered in detail enough as I compare this with others and controlling the closing of the valve til closing is what it's really all about. Once you get to zero then close the valve and begin a deep vacuum t rid all moisture.

Nice tools to work with in the video. Unfortunately the reality is, , most installers do not have the digital manifold and rarely do I see a micron gauge with service techs or install crews. Changing vacuum pump oil changes? I agree with your procedures but, there needs to be some incentive for these guys to read instructions and follow these procedures. I'm just not sure what that should or could be. Maybe with the resources ofLennox, you can find some ideas. Thanks, from a HVAC retired contractor. Peace

This video is crap. Why would you pump refrigerant into the condenser then pull a vacuum?? Recover refrigerant. Make any necessary repairs. Then purge/. Pressure test with nitrogen. Then vacuum system. I’m glad I don’t install Lennox I’d be embarrassed to be associated with this nonsense.
