My mum died suddenly & unexpectedly in February this year. I have never sewn before but watching your lovely videos has inspired me to learn to sew & make a patchwork quilt using my Mums clothes. That quilt is beautiful! My youngest daughter is now learning to sew and wanting to learn how to make scrunches. I told her to watch your tutorial, she did and then called me. I LOVE this pattern! I've recently made the same block(s) in a smaller size. I did not use a white square in the center of the block; I used a contrasting print(s). They are adorable blocks! I like the triangles in the corners of the block; with the sashing, it makes a great secondary block (Monkey Wrench). I was thinking of using a fun, colorful spring fabric as the setting squares, but I like your idea far better (sashing & secondary block). Great vid & a fun easy quilt. Many thanks❣
