Our SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS tour went wrong | ISLE OF SKYE day trip from INVERNESS

In this Scotland travel vlog we go on another Scottish Highlands tour, this time taking a day trip to the Isle of Skye from Inverness. Although many things go wrong, we are still able to travel and visit some must see places in Scotland.

We started our trip in Edinburgh and made our way to Inverness. Inverness is a great base for exploring the Scottish Highlands so we took this opportunity to go on a day trip tour of the Isle of Skye. On the way to Portree we stopped at the famous Eilean Donan castle. You can really see the incredible nature and history of Scotland in this area!

We then stopped by a traditional Scottish pub, The Isles Inn at Portree and had the best veggie fish and chips. During this Scotland travel vlog, the weather is not on our side. As with all group tours, many things can go wrong. I still highly recommend taking a day tour (like the 13 hour Scottish Highlands tour I took from Edinburgh) as it is the most convenient way to see Scotland and visit some remote or isolated locations within the Scottish Highlands.

Even though I've been to Scotland multiple times, I am still amazed at the natural beauty and landscape of the Scottish Highlands. Very few places compare to the beauty of Scotland's mountains, lochs, and glens and quaint villages. Isle of Skye has been on our bucket list and we were not disappointed! Definitely consider exploring the Isle of Sky and the Scottish highlands if you are looking for things to do in Scotland!

There are actually regular buses that run to Skye several times a say. Or you can get a train to the Kyles of Lochalsh and walk over the bridge to Skye Much cheaper and the view is spectacular.
