OUR MUDDY JOURNEY TO THE SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS + M&S SCOTLAND GROCERY SHOPPING HAUL! ◆ UK TRAVEL VLOG

After overcoming all of our car issues so far in Scotland, in this video we drive our replacement rental car into the gorgeous SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS!

But, of course, not without a few hiccups, haha!

We get stuck in standstill traffic, miss out on another one of the stops in our plans due to unannounced closures, and then squish-squash through wayyyyy too much mud at beautiful Kilchurn Castle viewpoint!

Even with all of the chaos of that day, I’m proud of us for keeping our spirits high.

Once we checked into our AirBNB in Fort William, we immediately went to the grocery store to stock up! And, since many of you had ask what food shopping is like in the UK, we took our cameras along!

Hi Eliz and Derek, Scotland can be hit or miss when it comes to weather. But when you do hit. The natural environment is stunning. The people are characters. Love them. Harriet and I have been to Glasgow and Aberdeen and to the Isle of Skye. A great destination to tour is the Isle of Skye provided the weather cooperates. Travel is an adventure. Been enjoying your series on your travels through Great Britain as they are giving inspiration to my wife and me who are planning our first trip there in a couple of years. Fort William is a big one on our itinerary since my wife is a big Harry Potter fan so we have to ride the Jacobite train.
