Xander's bat is starting to heating up. That was a nice cut down at 3rd base by Verdugo off the monster. Verdugo barely missed another cut down at 2nd base. The throw was on time, but they didn't catch it to make the tag.

The quality of the managers was on full display. Sevais is terrible at managing starting pitchers. We’re not talking about an ace being given the benefit of the doubt, he just waits for them to implode before calling the bullpen. We need a decent manager if we’re ever getting back to the playoffs.

Mariners, when you give up 😳6-runs😞 expect a loss. Especially against very good baseball teams. There's a reason that the Red Sox are in first place in their division and that's because they are a great team. If the Mariners want to continue compete to beat these great teams. You have to play great defense, and allow no more than 3-runs per game!!!

Dustin was the one that was notorious for this bad trait as he would explain that he was trying to run up the pitch count -of all the stats in bb the pitch could is the one of the lowest ?Recall the days when there was no pitch count
Strike one - now you only have 2 pitches left so you are at the mercy of the pitcher
