As a Mariners fan, it was brutal to see the strike 3 with 2 outs not called, and then giving up 7 runs! Our team has gotta hold it together in those moments, especially Gilbert! gg

The Ump missing that strike 3 changed the outcome of the game dramatically. He gets thay call correct, thats 6 runs off the board and Logan doesnt get pulled after 3 innings, potentially taking even more runs off the board.

At the very least, the offense looked good. 7 runs scored is nice change of pace from 0-2 runs

In spite of the loss, that is now the 4th comsecutive game that the mariners have scored 6 or more runs. I'm feeling somewhat optomistic.

Boy, if you’d have told me a week ago we’d score 7 runs in a game, I’d have called you a liar. If you’d have said we’d score that many runs and lose, I would have laughed you out of the building. Bad call on that should be strike out, but we have to be mentally tough.

We ended up with seven runs last night Thornton comes in and gave up 7 that would have been a much closer game without Thornton in there 😞 last week he walked two against the angels and let the number nine hitter single to beat us dfa him now plzz

As a Bosox fan, that strike 3 no call was a tough break for the Mariners. But the 7 run rally to take advantage of the situation was incredible. Gilbert should've been relieved much earlier

Here is the proof again for those who say that it doesn't matter if the umpire had done his job well, it would have been a different game, but the decision was in favor of the Red Sox and he succeeded.

Gotta love the sound of the ball mashing off the green monster lol. Very important series as the announcers alluded to with both teams in the wildcard race and there's no tiebreaker game 163 if they finish with the same record at year's end. Nice football score in this game lol, Patriots 14 Seahawks 7 that could very well be the score of the football game this season when Pats and Seahawks play (actually they may score under 21 points in the NFL game lol). Randy looks good in a Mariners uniform and J Turner looks to be returning to Fenway for the next game in a Mariners uniform

Nasty call from the umpire that cause the Sox to get 7 runs in the 3rd and if he had called it right they would have gotten none in that particular inning. I think it is time that challenges can be made against the Home Plate Umpire!

Dang it nice the Red Sox got the win and all but that bullpen is terrible better fix that or we ain't going to the playoffs if we give up that many runs in a game alot.
