fun facts:
the max lvl is 255
it as an elemental sistem if u cover up +20 points of element resistence u cant get hit by a X element attack.
as one of the most hard to do platinum /archivements (like the one of killing the biggest boss of the game lvl 255 with 66 million HP at is max with lymle . or finishing the game in galaxy, universe, and caos)

u need to spend like 1200 hs to do it, if you do it with a guide, without loosing time
the game was made by square enix
ps3 version lets u change to japonese voice, and japonese menus (character portrait), and u can skip cutscenes like boss
is a hard game (on universe and caos mode) but is a loyal game, u can create +30% gold, or exp item, put it like armor or weapons option, u can get 140%  +exp or gold by fighting enemys . and every character as a passive that increases drop from enemys
bad thing is, that u can see how is gonna end, hours before the ending...

i think that IGN hates Jrpg, while call of duty goes more than 7 /10 or 8.5/10

Actually, cutscenes can be paused. Just open the Xbox Guide or disconnect the controller and it will stop until you close the guide/reconnect.

this game is amazing, dont let this review turn you off. The story is great. Tales of Symphonia, Grandia 2 and This game are the BEST RPGs of all time!

This is probably up there with my favorite games of all time. For sure, I've never put more hours into a game before. Easily 200+ and 3 playthroughs. An amazing game that gets way too much hate. imo of course.

As a German I think Edge Maverick sounds pretty badass. But on the other hand there are Anime characters names like "Dietlinde Eckart" or "Klavier Gavin" ( Klavier is German for Piano and it is forbidden to call your children like that in Germany for a reason xD) or "Dietlinde Zweigelt" which sound like names you'd expect from people who lived at least 100 years ago...

The original version of Star Ocean: The Last Hope was physical only, while the 4K & Full HD Remaster version is digital only.

This game is awesome. Challengeing good characters. Great story great graphics beautiful environment beautiful soundtrack. The girls are beautiful to look at

I am up to the second disk of the game, I am enjoying it so far.

I love the story-line and the characters. They have a real sense of drama and emotion to them.

The only negatives is that the dungeons may take 3 hours to get though, followed by a long cut scene at the end after an exhausting boss fight.

If the Japanese RPGs are to survive, they need to cut back the dungeon crawling to around an hour. Because of my busy life I have to stay up late at nights just to play a good game like this.

I would have to assume that all the Star Ocean games take place in a virtual world, as 4, 1, and 2 all were set before the events in Star Ocean 3: Till the End of Time (they all are in universe I think), with each being set years apart from the previous story.

yes its true but only for the ingame engine cutscenes, the cg cutscenes can not be paused via pressing the 360guide button, fortunly there are only a few of the real cg cutscenes - for example the one with the big dragon on top of the planet(nox obscuria) can not be paused but for the rest, you are right
