I watch these videos and understand that I have to learn not only English, but also I have to study history, science, nature, know celebrities ... I don’t know how to answer many questions in my first language🤔😉

The twist of the plot: there is no Jerry at all. The dude just made the entire story up.
Intellegent one.

Even if a native speaker looks so nervous and hesitant, how a non-native speaker would be able to pass the exam 😄

Why examiner is so serious. He is not showing some reactions to the candidate. It affects to performance of the student.

To all the people saying that native speakers should automatically get a 9, remember that IELTS is a test which also requires familiarity with certain topics that are sometimes unusual or may not frequently occur in natural conversation. These topics are routinely practiced in IELTS speaking classes which is why non-natives can sometimes get a higher score than native speakers. They are trying to tick the boxes and strategising before and during the test. It's a completely unnatural situation to be in, the questions and the manner in which they are asked are very stilted. For example, at 9:30 the examiner asks: “What are some of the greatest architectural achievements of the past 50 years?" I have never been asked a question like that out of the blue and I'm a native speaker. I would need to put some thought into it. What if a native speaker being tested has no interest in architecture or a very basic understanding of architecture at best? They might be able to bluff their way through it but they could also lack the vocabulary or awareness to formulate a 9.0 response or they might need additional time to consider their answer. Some people just don't do so well in test situations as well. Being put on the spot and forced to answer a series of stilted and unusual questions in a test situation is something you have to prepare for just like any other test.
