So happy to be seeing people talk about this show! It's a real sleeper, and it really needs to gain the popularity it deserves!

Wammawink is the best freakin' foster mom!!!

She's the foster mom that understands what her kids are going through and knows how to handle them

She's got the special boy that needs to be guided, the flamboyant gay kid that she fully supports, the rough kid that's still acting out a bit, the meek one that steals stuff but is never shamed for their coping method, and the new rebellious one that needs her help~

I want a plushie of this woman!

I don’t think Zulius is a Zebrataur. I think he’s a normal horse type centaur that painted himself with stripes because he tries to be extra in every way he can. There is a scene near to the beginning of episode 5 when it starts to rain and his stripes begin to melt off along with his makeup; I also think that it would perfectly match his personality for him to do this.

(Edit: after reading all the replies and watching most of season 2, I’m pretty sure he is a Zebrataur)

ngl, one of the reasons I started watching Centaurworld was because Rider was pretty and from the clips I had seen she seemed to be in the "strong female lead" type of character. While that wasn't exactly the case, I still found myself really enjoying the show; gradually getting to know each character, that they're more than just happy-goofy personas. Also, the choice to move character development and plot along with song/a musical was amazing. Side note, I'm pretty sure Zulius is my favorite character, then rider of course.

I still get into an hour laughing fit when I watch Wammawink describes Mermaid centaurs.

I went into Centaur World totally unspoiled and episode 8 hit like a brick. Such a great show.

Let's also throw in the idea of the Humand world and the Centaurworld to symbolize "serious" adulthood and innocent childhood joy.

While the world tries to seperate the two, they are connected. There is always some found in the other too. Centaurworld has to face the truth and not hide. But the otherworld had to accept the optimism and bewilderdered joy.

They need each other.

Comfortable Doug is best boy..

But lemme tell you why nobody was reacting to it.
People saw images of it before it came out and assumed it was an adult animation parody of MLP by netflix.

I both hate and love the comfortable Doug song. I'll skip it in the playlist, but it'll always end up in my head somehow.

This show is so fucking good, I’ve made so much fanart and goddammit I can’t stop listening to the soundtrack.
Durpleton is a mostly hated character but I love him and he’s voiced by an amazing songwriter/singer.
My favorite shaman in Johnny Teatime bc of his the message he sends despite not speaking u til the every end of the episode.

6:22 this sounds like a Princess Carolyn tongue twister straight out of Bojack Horseman.

I love Wammawink! She touches me with her love and care for the herd so much so I cried a couple of times during my viewing of the show. And like damn her line in response to the mysterious woman's song sums up her so well. Even to an enemy who is the opposite of Wammawink in that she views love as something bad, Wammawink is still pleading to think of the fragile things. Love is fragile but it's also gives strength and Wammawink knows it through her own experiences.

Me: This looks like a silly, lighthearted show that I can watch a few episodes of before I go to sleep.
Centaurworld: Hush now....

I had been following Megan for a while so I knew this was coming out, and her unhinged quality of her chaotic and hilarious doodles perfectly carried over to the show! I watched it pretty soon after it came out and i LOVED it and im so glad other people are getting into it. This show has a lot of love and skill in it. It is one of my favorite brands of intentional stupidity, with just the right amount of sincerity.

The way I describe this show is:
It's a child of a 3 way relationship between MLP: Friendship is Magic, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and SpongeBob SquarePants. It has relatable characters, emotional complexity, thrilling action, and a fart joke during a major plot point.
