I’ve had my Deus 1 for eleven years now, it’s been used and abused and apart from a new battery in the control box it’s never skipped a beat.

Just bought a Deus 2 after using the Deus 1 for 8 years. It arrived today and I'm using it for the first time tomorrow on brand new fields. Thanks for a great review. It's given me (and my wallet) the confidence we needed to hear !

Actually the coil is the actual detector and the little controller with the display is just to display what the coil says. You can use the coil with only the LCD headphones from XP and not even need to have the computer (controller).

l was awaiting a total hip replacement and as an incentive to getting better l bought the Deus 11 having previously owned a whites v3i. What a difference in weight and performance an absolute pleasure to use. I had my hip replaced three months ago and have been out eight times with it only just for an hour or two each time just building up the strength in my leg

Both the lads I detect with have been using Deus for a good few years....me, I was a Fisher man, old 1266x, then T2 and G2+...A Golden Mask Relictum, Knokta Makro Anfibio Multi even had two Rutus....finally bought a Deus 2....Wow ..Love it, should have listened to my mates a few years ago ;0)

.. cxt knocks out iron .. 800 knocks out iron .. why does the deus2 love iron so much .. if you have any tips to get rid of iron . i would be most great full, , , ,

I've run the Deus for seven years my good lady five years she runs the light. Never had an issue. Just keep an eye on the pin in the cam lock. You have to push them in every year or two. It's expensive but worth every penny. Saves a fortune in batteries. You didn't mention the mi6 pinpointer . And it's link straight to controller. Thank you for a great honest review. Ive had mine since it came out great machine

The coil is the Detector, you must remember that so every 'time you buy aaccessories like another coil it's the equivalent to another detector .

Old Ther dinosaur here I've used everything from old beachcomber & Garrett groundhog upwards and used to Tesoro SS, thinking of gettingDues is the XP Deus 1 called Deus "lite", happy hunting💰💰💰

Good review, been MD ing 2 years but I am hard of hearing I wear 2 hearing aids, you said it’s all about it’s all about the sound so would this be a good MD for me ?

Great review Grim. I've got the Ws6 master version, totally agree with magnetic coil charger, that would be the icing on the cake. Other than that, Mi6 pinpointer links wirelessly to headphones. Build quality is excellent. As you say, 5 year warranty!.
All in all, I love mine.

Is not better to get and used to a good machine and fail/learn from it? It also saves more money since you do not buy machines many times. I do know. I think it can be good to use it and learn from it.
