For me it's a waiting game. I have a nox and absolutely love it. Almost bought a deus about 4 months ago to give it a try but heard rumors about the deus II so I decided to hold off. Definitely an interesting machine.

Couldn't wait so I pre-ordered. My Deus (1) will be the back up.

Great Video I am starting to get into metal detecting since the XP Deus II is coming out and am watching to see what it will be all about

Well it looks like they are giving what you were speculating on and more multi frequency and 64’ deep is a little deeper than the 50’ you were hoping for. Can’t wait to see some reviews maybe you could work that out and have a review of your own.

Myself not being familiar with Deus I would like to know your opinion on Deus customer service. To myself and others I think that would be important information, Thanks.

I’m gonna wait and see how everyone does with it. I’m totally digging the nox 8 and have still yet to master it. It’s coming tho!!

Hey Matt, first off great video. Secondly, I’m an equinox 800 and Deus user, im newer to the Deus and I’m definitely not as confident with it compared to my Nox. I pre-ordered the Deus II and was speaking to the owner ( I think) of detector electronics in Southborough Massachusetts and he told me the target signals are a lot more “crisp” than the Deus I, meaning it’s going to sound more like the Nox. That was one of my biggest complaints was the “wirey “ sounding signals with the Deus. I definitely dig more trash vs my Nox another thing to be seen and another one of the Deus’ shortcomings is a depth gauge, not having one just drives me nuts and is why I did so much trash. One of my hunting buddies cleans my clock on a regular basis with his Deus but I’m hoping the Deus II will be the machine that at least keeps up with him (lol). Anyway, I know you’re from the Mechanicsville area and I have a great permission on cold harbor road, maybe I’ll bump into you on our next trip down from Massachusetts!! Take care and happy hunting!-Bob

There seems to clearly be a lot of interest for the deus 2 , I no several dealers so have been speaking to them today to get some facts from people who know , Not silly clips on here from people who just post any rubbish to make some money from YouTube , The new deus add says No wires several times , Apparently that's not true as if the coil is under water it needs a wire kit from the coil to ghe control box , Then from the control box to the headphones , New technology ? No, Then they say 45 frequencys you can choose from that's true, However all running at the same time ? I've been told by 2 dealers that's not true, Just like the equinox there is a range of frequencys that run together what they are no one knows , But its certainly not all 45 of them, I've got a full deus at the moment as well as a equinox 800 personally I cant see that this new deus has anything the equinox doesn't , Depth who nos but I'm sure we will soon find out, And why would anyone want to pay around £1500 for the deus when the equinox is around half that . Maybe the new deus will be super fantastic but personally I think its a lot of hipe.

I love my Deus for the type of detecting I do but there are places that it doesn't work well. (I scuba dive during the summer for instance). I'm pretty sure I will purchase one but I am concerned about a couple things I don't like in the current Deus that I think are in this version too. The head is prone to being knocked off in vines and the charger leaves much to be desired. The ability to dive will be a major benefit. Looking forward to seeing it in person.

Really interesting. Sounds like they are pushing the diving aspect and “fast” part of multi-frequency.

Looks to be quite the detector. I can't wait to see it actually being used. I don't know why but the no wire thing a bit odd.

The pricing will be available tomorrow rumor has it at $1599. I can't wait to test it out while diving.

HOW much!? And the new SIMPLEX multi frequency is coming out to .. I'm a SIMPLEX user... Own 2.... With the SNIPER COIL... It's all I use now and it's my favorite and best EVER.. affordability and QUALITY is EVERYTHING.... The SIMPLEX imo is the BEST EVER... Js

$1599 is pricey for me . I’ll run my XP & ORX for now. Hope the price comes down. I also run a MX Sport & AT PRO if I’m hunting in water. So I can’t see pulling the trigger right now.

Don't say "Garrett" and "new technology" in the same sentence. I'm excited for the new deus so much that I used my Nokta MF machine money that I saved to buy it.

It looks nice but won’t compete price wise with the equinox and when it comes out the Nokta waterproof multi frequency detector and fix that foot on the handle XP lol
