Why it's nearly impossible to gain fat when intermittent fasting

Gaining fat while intermittent fasting is very unlikely close to impossible even. I break down the multiple elements as to why this is the case. All other traditional american diets however have the opposite effect in which one can gain fat much easier. Intermittent fasting is the best place for fat loss and definitely one of the best places to ensure that you will not gain fat if done consistently.

I like to use a favorite pair of jeans to guide my progress. Easier than anything!! How you feel in your clothes is the real judge of how you are progressing.

I never stopped eating my favorite junk food. I'm just eating a lot less of it!

Dude. Your amazing, I’m now following you and I’m doing the IF for the past week. I’m watching what I eat and keeping my insulin level low. First time ever I went to the gym this morning in my fasting state for the first time. Had so much energy... unbelievable!!!! I mix up between weight training and cardio. I need to lose a few pounds around the mid section and I’m toning and building muscle. I’m now doing 18:6 rule. I don’t feel hungry and at work I drink water to stay hydrated. Keep the videos coming bro ✊🏾

I’m feeling great! I’m doing 16/8. Working towards 20/4. I’m in the gym 6 days a week. I lift weights with some cardio. I don’t weigh myself but judge how my clothes fit and how I feel. I drink raw apple cider vinegar before going to bed. Funny thing is thou my belly feels a lot flatter than it looks 😂🤷🏾‍♀️

I really needed to hear this. I've been feeling down about my results because they're not as fast as I would like considering how consistent I've been. I'm going to stop checking my weight, instead I'll measure progress with how my clothes feel and inches lost. It's not easy though, but I'm really trying. Pray for me ya'll!

I've just begun and it has been challenging to not eat for breakfast, because I have to prepare food for others. I've slowly decreased my window to 5 hours so far. I have noticed I'm less tired and I don't miss my colas as much. I honestly believe I will get healthier and eventually loose the weight. I've even started using weights while watching TV. I am 60 and refuse to continue feeling as if I'm 80. Thanks for the advice. 🌹

I agree with 99.9% of what this man says.. I experience everything this man said lately. I literally crave salads (with added fat such as avacados, ranch with 0-2g carbs and zero sugar/hidden sugars), cheese, olives, etc. I have been on a "strick" keto diet this month in April. And did a 133 hour fast this week. Tons of success with prolong fasting and IF, but I still can't wait to carb the fuck up on my birthday next month haha I miss beer and hamburgers with fries a bit

Nice to have someone that has scientific knowledge on this subject. I've been doing OMAD for a week now and I actually love it. I have had a history of binge eating AND anorexia (in severe depressed situations). The OMAD allows me to control that. I have my one meal and eat what I desire. I stay withing 800 to 1200 each time and my desire to binge or eat bad food is gone. Thank you for being so knowledgeable, precise, and detailed.

Brains, personality, beautiful soul, beautiful eyes, and THAT voice!!! In my opinion, the best IF channel out here, is yours. You actually have facts and research to back up everything. And honestly, having your voice playing through my apt every day is kinda my new addiction! Love your channel, appreciate your work, and just overall grateful that i get to watch you and listen to you whenever i want/ need to! Thank you Edward, for putting forth this effort to help others. :)

great video, I've been trying to lose weight for years but always gave up after a short time until I woke up one morning and thought "i had enough" I will not be dominated by my cravings anymore! I got so angry and upset to the point where i would scream at myself for thinking of breaking my fast and it worked amazingly well. I stuck to my fast and I'm loving life, even though im still over weight i feel better about myself because eventually I'll have that six pack I've always wanted !
