His mind is in the right place. He’s starting with issues that may look small but needs to be addressed by a lot of people. I think he’s on track to be a fantastic engineer, regardless of industry.

Mark is right, without AI this tech is totally useless. My instructors in school could always bypass this easily by making people do polls (and marking absent to those that don't respond), or asking a random question to anyone in the group at any time.
