They thought the tires would sell themselves. It almost seemed liked they say what the product was and waiting for everyone to be blown out of their chairs. Like the wanted all the sharks to fight over the REINVENTION of the wheel.

Kevin was right. Licensing to any major company gets people interested.

These guys didn’t want a deal. This was just advertising for them. $500k for 2.5% of a pre-revenue business is never going to get an offer unless its insane tech that could change the world. Its an insane valuation.

These are just expensive run flats. You will still need to replace them necause the rubber tread will wear out. The metal is cool and probably has a ton of potential but these guys own the rights to making a bike tire with it and thats it.

Making an exclusivity deal with Nasa doesn’t make them a $20 million dollar business.

The tech works but price is too high due to the cost of Innovation ( not invention ). The wheel won't reach global market unless they can reduce it to double the price of regular wheel.

The tire market needs innovation. Flat car tires are a nightmare. Love the idea, but thousands of $$ just for two tires is a joke.

Give this tech to an actual tire manufacturer to offer a totally puncture proof tire line. Military, Police... ATV's and off-road tires. The average driver does not care about this technology.

He's absolutely right, the wheel market is mature, changing it will cost a lot of time and money if at all possible. Dumb decisions are red flags for the sharks, especially when valuation is incredibly high.

The rubber wears out on my tires and then I change them. If I get a flat, it's repaired and I keep driving. What benefit will this bring me since the rubber is still going to wear out at the same rate it already is now.

I hope this product can be bought to the market, but it does feel like this guys might either fail, or their actions may prevent it. The "ever lasting" bike tyre has a market, I am sure plenty of people in more bike based cultures, would love such a product.

Car tyres im sure could change the world, but I fear the forces of capitalism mean it wont
