We must remember, that Martin Luther later rejected Anti-Semitism and he repented of being an Anti-Semite. Granted Adolf Hitler conveniently ignored Luther turning away from Anti-Semitism.

Luther was not anti-semitic, but anti-by grace salvation-religions. In that context, he was anti-roman catholic, anti-islam, anti-judaism. It was not a matter of racism. Hitler considered Jews to be an inferior race, not by theological reasons. It is totally different. And let's also remember that german anti-semitism was a part of a broader ''western'' anti-semitic mentality, not a german per se characteristic.
