Basic fact of life: when you give poor people more money, they spend it... because they needed things they couldn't get before.

When you give rich people more money, they save it... because they already had all they needed to spend.

Spending is what stimulates the economy. So... if you want a good economy, get more money to the poor, not the rich. Making the rich richer gets you nothing.
