I head to Mount Superbus, Southern Queensland's higest peak, to investigate the story behind the fatal and tragic crash of an Avro Lincoln bomber on April 9, 1955.

Written, filmed and performed by Jack Kristensen.

Thanks very much for creating and uploading this video.

I visited the wreck in the late 70s, and still have pictures I took using a 126 Kodak cartridge camera ... not a 35mm SLR, LOL! The vegetation was a lot clearer around the fuselage back then. Your video reminded me of the walk, especially the steep bit towards the end. There's a plaque somewhere there too, listing the names of the people on board.

A few months after visiting the wreck I got to see the other end of Mt. Superbus, near the end of a North-to-South Main Range walk which started at Cunningham's Gap and ended at Teviot Gap. I still have the topo maps from that trip. :)

This and all the videos I’ve seen of yours are amazing. I will subscribe because they so good. What kind of camera and editing software are you using?
