I think the best example is New York Red Bulls who play in a whole other state in New Jersey. Especially since it’s part of the Red Bull franchise.

You should make a whole video on Western Sydney Wanders. The whole area which is migrants, their AFC Champions League win out of nowhere. The players from the region. Also Parramatta does kind of count as Sydney due to Australian cities spanning so far. I live in Melbourne yet I’m 30km from the centre. Great Video Alfie.

Man United are in the Metropolitan Borough of Trafford, Greater Manchester, not technically the city itself. Believe that’s what inspired the famous Tevez banner 😂

Bolton’s stadium is technically in Bolton, it’s just Bolton the borough not the town

WSW are based in Greater Western Sydney which is where Parramatta is so I think they are based in western Sydney but I'm not sure honestly Australia is confusing sometimes

Outside of the sponsored name Bankwest Stadium's official name is Western Sydney Stadium.

Parramatta is definitely Western Sydney.

An entry from India. Defending I-League champions, Chennai City FC is based in Coimbatore not Chennai.
Coimbatore is 420 KMS from Chennai and I guess is the farthest team in the world in this regard.

You produce really good content, Alfie! The lads that call you boring might have been in a mental hospital for the past two years. Keep up the good work!

Western Sydney have never won the A-League. That's Adelaide United in the picture.

Also Parramatta is a western suburb of Sydney.

So in a video where you say that each team is based elsewhere to the CITY they represent, you mention:
AFC Wimbledon, a London team that plays in London
Western Sydney Wanderers, who play in Western Sydney
Bolton, who play in the borough of Bolton,
Barnet, a London team that plays in London
Bournemouth, who play in the suburbs of Bournemouth,
Chelsea, a London team that plays in London,
FC Dallas, a team that plays in the Dallas Metropolitan area. I mean maybe fair cop with that one but it's a bit of a reach still.

Plus, under your criteria for London teams, Arsenal would qualify, as they represent Woolwich, but play in Highbury.

Sorry but you've done a pretty terrible job on this one.

FC Dallas's stadium is super inconvenient to get to which is a big reason their attendance suffers so much
