THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST INTRO'S IN MOVIE HISTORY I THINK. IT OPENS THE FILM IN SUCH AN EPIC WAY, IT'S BREATHTAKING I THINK. I like how they didn't just make it sound heroic, they put in some harmful sounding music and it just blended so well

This is the first ever IMAX movie I've seen. The music and HUGE star fleet logo had blown me away. Truly my most memorable cinematic moment. Although I've watched many IMAX movies since, this is what ironed in my memory.

Every time I watch Star Trek Generations I almost immediately want to watch this intro. I felt that Kirk's death in generations was a slap in the face to the original cast's legacy. The rebooted franchise is not only keeping Kirk's legacy alive but I feel that they have done a good job paying tribute to the original.
