How to remove the bumper? If I’m trying to get a replacement from a junkyard?

Thanks for pointing out the ambient temperature sensor, the front proximity sensor, etc.--I wasn't sure exactly where those were located.

Technically, the part you reinstalled is called a "bumper cover" since the actual bumper is the dark gray horizontal foam part it covers, which is designed to be crushable to absorb collision impacts.

My Mom has had work done on her former car, a 2017 Nissan Altima, and recently her replacement for that car, a 2019 Sentra, which I think involved removing the bumper cover, and both times I've found that the mechanics didn't reinstall all of the fasteners that hold the bumper cover and the air dam in place, leading to problems. With the Altima, parts of the air dam bent backward after a while due to the force of air during freeway driving, deforming them to the point where I had to cut away those areas, though I guess the proper approach would have been to replace the air dam and install the fasteners. With her Sentra, the mechanic didn't reinstall, or they just fell out after not being properly installed, the three fasteners that are supposed to hold the horizontal extension of the front end of the driver's side fender liner, so that eventually the force of air while driving disengaged the outer, lower front edge of the fender liner from interlocking with the edge of the bumper cover, allowing this lower end of the fender liner to be pushed back far enough, while driving on the freeway, so that it contacted the tire, wearing away this lower end of the fender liner, exposing the engine air intake scoop. While this probably wouldn't have caused any other problems, it might have impacted proper airflow into this intake scoop, so I ordered a replacement fender liner from a third-party seller on Amazon, once I found the Nissan dealer wanted about $150 for the part and more labor cost than I wanted to ask.

How does the grill and bumber connect?

Would it be the same process for a 2017 Nissan Sentra. I assume the screws/bolts do not come with the grille/bumper kit.

Dude might as well have just snapped his fingers and cut to the finished product. Gave more info about the components behind than actually installing the bumper😂
