Why shadows are not appearing in Eevee(Blender 2.92)

In summary, your scene is just big and you need to increase the max distance that the render engine searches for shadows.

Great, thanks. The last thing I modeled had shadows, but now, while preparing my latest scene the shadows were not there. Thanks, this helped.

The problem I'm having is in my finished Eevee render, not in my viewport. Shadows will seem to 'peel off' as I move my camera closer to an object with shadows. I tried changing the Max Distance incrementally util I basically raised it to ONE MILLION METERS, with zero effect. It's frustrating. Any Ideas? P.S., I'm using 3.4, but this has been going on prior to 3x...

this no longer exists in 3.0.. I would delete this video..
