I have the same condor chest rig, in case you didn't know, condor makes a water bladder harness that goes onto this chest rig, not only can you carry 2.5 liters of water, but it makes this chest rig so much more comfortable and balances the weight!

Great video! Just some food for thought for your wife's loadout. If she is running the Keltec it could be wise to roll her sidearm over to a Glock that way you're not carrying different mags and you can switch them out in between her primary and secondary with ease.

My plans are way different, Survival drops over 50% once you leave a safe structure, A bag should only be used to move from a unsafe location to a safe location, if this isn't the plan, its tme to rethink your strategy, being out in the elements is no place for a family, family = #1

My setup is very similar to yours. The only main difference with mine is comms. I've got three DMR radios for my daughter, wife, and I. Mine is full featured with dual band channels while theirs are more simplified for ease of use.

Makes me feel good knowing theres like-minded people preparing in a similar fashion. Keep up the good work!

Get everyone on the same weapons platform for commonality of magazines and ammo. concussion can be deminished by using a blast diverter and flash suppressor combo or suppressor. Some very lightweight ARs can be built or purchased to cancel the weight issue also 9mm blowback carbines actually have more recoil than 5.56. I like your thought and plannning as for as the rest of your gear. Most important is you have a plan.

Awsome video! Lots to think about.
The only small dings I would make on this whole setup is it would be a huge benefit to you both to carry Glock pistols in 9mm so that you have mag compatibility for sidearms across the board as well as with your wife’s primary.
The other small point being you may want to consider a bolt action with a removable magazine for your son. Would make his .22 a lot more effective.

I looked up how to prepare for world War 3 as a citizen because A. I don't want to be deployed and B. I have no idea how the government will hold up during the war. Thanks for the information. I got a better idea of what I should have. Good luck everyone!
