Insta360 X3 I found the BEST wireless mic (and for ONE X2 too)

The Movo wireless mic set is the perfect external microphone for the Insta360 X3 and One X2. The small receiver is slim enough to not show in the 360 stitching. Of course you'll need each camera's audio adapter. The Movo receiver fits into the audio adapter as it has a 3.5mm trs jack. Connection and pairing (between transmitting mic and reciever) is simple and quick. The set comes with two mic transmitters, a single receiver, two foam pop shields, 3 usb-c charging cables and a pouch to contain all the parts. costing £50/$50 I think the kit is good value. Sound is good, but will suffer in windy conditions as there is no deadcat available.

How well does the Rode stay in place compared to this movo? Minus the rode cord. I'm looking for a mic while I snowboard and the movo seems too risky. Like it could fall off easily.

Hi, when I plug the receiver into the camera it doesn’t show up on my camera at all. Official microphone adapter and the same MOVE mic as above. Should I be changing a setting? I can’t seem to get it working at all

Have you tested how far away the microphone can be from the speaker? I am interested in using this setup for research and, in some cases, the microphone might be fixed to a single subject but, in other cases, I'd like to set it in an area to record multiple subjects that might range from 3-6 feet from the mic. Do you think this would be feasible with the movo?

Can we get an USB-C wireless mic like from Ulanzi be able plug in direct to the usbc on insta360 X3 port and use it or do we really still need to have the adapter?

So you dont think the wind will spin that receiver around? You can tape the cable down on the rode or cable tie it. I ride motorized vehicles and this looks like a no go.

Wanna bet this reciver can move? That is why it is easy to lose while motobiking at all and this sound from mic is almost the same like from airpods. Noisy and low quality
