I have never had a stroke or a praying injury however I was once given Topamax for my epilepsy, which created aphasia only during the time in which I took it.

I had 3 strokes during COVID in one week with aphasia. It's been a few years, still struggling with communication and affecting my social skills tremendously and I just don't want to talk to anyone. People just don't understand.

Not correct about ALWAYS being an injury to the brain. Daughter has POTS/Dysautonomia. Usually an episode lasts 10 max 15 minutes. For the first time, she had an episode that will haunt us forever. After about 12 hours, the aphasia "cured" itself. She was tested for a stroke and all the tests were negative. Again, no injury to the brain!
