How could you forget Torvill and Dean?! Not only a perfect score score in 84 but audience favorites again in 94. Bolero is a masterpiece that speaks perfection everytime it is performed. It was one of my earliest Olympic memories ( probably the same for many on this list).

Ummmm… no mention of Torville & Dean; Bolero ? A British ice dance team that not only won gold, breaking the death grip the Soviets had in this discipline, they were awarded an unheard of perfect score from all the judges. A feat never before accomplished… T & D excelled beyond the sport to absolute perfection.

Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue's performance of Moulin Rouge and basically all of their performances will always remain at the top of my list not only because of their quality and technique as skaters but also because of the incredible chemistry and connection they have that I will never see in any other couple.

How on god’s green earth did Torvill and Dean’s Bolero routine from the 1984 Olympics that got 12 perfect 6.0 (and 6 5.9) not at least get an honorable mention? That is the most iconic skating routine ever. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I have watched Tessa and Scott’s Moulin Rouge routine at least one hundred times. I honestly think it’s one of the best things I’ve even seen in any sporting arena. Magnificent. Brilliant. Gorgeous.

Notable omissions: Torville & Dean’s Bolero…. Hello? Also Sale and Pelltier’s Love Story routine at SLC 2002. Two biggies IMHO. I can’t argue with Scott and Tessa. They probably had 2 or 3 routines that deserved to be on the list.

Gordeeva and Grinkov should be in the number 1 spot. When they skated it was so easy to forget that it was a competition. It was like watching a beautiful moment in their lives and they weren't even aware they had an audience. It was so beautiful.
