My dad was an electronics instructor at the local college, and owned and operated the local TV & stereo sales and service business. He and his father, who started the business, installed sophisticated sound systems in the local dairy barns and learned that the girls really do prefer classical music. Visiting the barn during the afternoon/evening milking was one of my favorite things to do with my dad and grandpa when he had to make repairs or adjustments.

The reason why cats go so relaxed when grabbed by the scruff is for survival. If a mother cat (and this applies to big cats too) feels that her kittens are in danger, she will move them to a new safe location. So the kittens go limp when carried like that to make it easier for her, prevent them from attracting unwanted attention and increase their survival chance.

Surprised when you mentioned frogs, you didn't mention toads. Toads can be hypnotized very effectively by a decent singing voice. Learned that as a kid. The toads would hide in my garden until you watered the plants. But then you start humming a little tune, and they just...freeze and stare at you. It was so effective, I could cup them in hand before they snapped out of it. Usually they were more tough to catch.

I learned decades ago that sharks have to keep moving in order to keep breathing. How one can breathe deeply while immobilized directly contradicts that. Now, I don’t know either as fact.

My cat is hypnotising me. When she looks at me, make her noises, then I MUST give her a pet. And open the "cat-cakes"^^

Found out that Turtles like Heavy Metal. No seriously. I live out in the sticks near creeks, so turtles are a regular. One time I caught one an was keeping it as a pet, feeding him and whatnot. But, he would never be out of his shell when I was around, and even tried to bite me a few times! But one day, I was playing Slipknot through my speaker one day (It was People = Shit, For those curious), headbanging and jumping around (Who doesn't?), and went over to dance around my turtle for a bit (why not?). But, weirdly he was out of his shell, even weirder, he wouldn‘t go back in! I even pet his head a few times. Still out! Curiously, I paused the music and, get this, HE WENT BACK IN HIS SHELL IMMEDIATELY. So I turned it back on, and he came out and did the same thing. So, I got to thinking, "What if this works with other turtles?", and proceeded to spend my day looking for another turtle. After about 2 hours, I found one, brought him inside and turned on the music (Still heavy metal) and he came out of his shell too! Both of them! I messed around with other music, but I guess the energy wasnt the same as metal, because the turtles stayed in their shells until I turned the metal back on. Since then Ive tried this on a dozen or so turtles and I get the same results! Kinda neat right?

Guess Im not the only thing that enjoys some good ol‘ Slipknot.

DO NOT DO THE CLIP ONE!!!! It’s way too easy for you to hurt your cat/kitten doing it!

The last 6 cats I've owned weren't interested in cardboard boxes at all. The only exception is my current cat, but she doesn't like sitting or playing in a box - she likes to bite small chunks out of a box and spit them all over the floor, and it must be the box that holds 12 packs of Ramen noodles. No other box will suffice. My cat's insane, and my living room looks like a landfill half the time, but I don't know what our life would be like without her.

I needed to listen to a few songs and learn them for my music exam but I was 'hypnotized' by your video. 😆

11:08 I wonder how many people will get kicked out of Red Lobster for grabbing one out of the live tank an attempting this😂

Please never do the cat trick. If you get the pinch off by just an inch you can actually do serious if not fatal damage to the cat by crushing nerves or veins

People, PLEASE do not put a binder clip on your cat. This video shows a yellow clothespin and then mentions a “bulldog clip, ” but then they put an image of a BINDER CLIP in the video. A binder clip could hurt a kitten/cat.

Sharks aren’t scary they’re like underwater wasps. If you annoy them, they’ll hurt you. If you leave them alone and just watch them they will not car about you. Sharks are usually actually quite docile

You hypnotized me! I sat here in the same spot and didn't move until the video ended 👀

Always enjoyed catching blue bellied lizards and doing that to them.
Nice to know they were pretty chill with the whole experience.

I used a laser pointer on my husky but he just looked at it, then looked at me then huffed and snatched it from me. 😆

When I was a teenager, I did the chalk lines with chickens. They need not to be lying down, but can be standing up. I held its head with the beak touching the ground. Then drew a chalk line right in front. I did with zipzag lines. The chicken’s eyes traced the zigzag movement, then the chicken became still/frozen in place. When I released my hand, the chicken would be frozen still for about 20 seconds max—not longer than that.
