I actually love how you show this concept, Wally's defect is being not so expresional as he should, unlike the others he dosen't show his emotions, so Home thinks he dosen't feel anything at all, meaning that Wally dosen't belong in this world pure of life and colors, that's why it wanted to delete him. Until Wally finally scream "I'm scare!" That's the moment when Home realised that Wally DOES feel emotions, no matter how different is his personality, in the end he is just like the rest, and that's why Home finally set him free, because now it knows that Wally belong to this world

I imagine that because is canon that Barnaby literally teach him how to laugh and how to sleep, so it can be true

I really do believe Wally isn't bad, but maybe being manipulated or in a position where he's forced to do bad things and trying to prevent it from happening or something like that.. I hope it's the case because that would be really really awesome as that's not done very often

I really do think Wally is as much a victim as anyone else. Something that really struck me was how he literally can't NOT smile. We see him talk about it in the single panel comic with Frank. It seems innocuous, but it the more you think about it, the more it feels like Wally is desperate for control

This is my favorite depiction of wally in a "please don't disassemble me" animatic. His inability to not-smile just make his expression more sad and distressing.

Wally's expressions is like pure amazement, the way home is "Controlling" him is just- god, this is the first animation of Welcome Home that made me cry

I love everything about this! His visible fear and desperation being shown PERFECTLY while keeping his inability to stop smiling. Also his hair coming apart once in touch from the black liquid was a perfect touch. I like that the creator used art reference for Wally's hair from Clown's doodle of Wally in the rain. Beautiful! 10/10!
