Batman: Arkham Knight "Batgirl: A Matter of Family" Easter Egg Video in Full HD (1080p)

===================================

In the new DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight, "Batgirl: A Matter of Family", there is a hidden room found between the Ferris Wheel and the Great White.

Inside the room you can find Starro in a containment tube.
Also, in front of the Great White you can find a billboard with another reference to this villain and its "mind control" ability.

In the DC universe, Starro the Conqueror is a giant starfish looking alien that is capable of generating millions of miniature duplicate "spores" of itself, which attach to the faces of humans and render them under its mental control.
Starro was the first villain to face the original Justice League of America.

Developers should have put a jump scare there when examining Starro, like that guy in Scarecrow's boat easter egg in Arkham City.

Now this is terrifying. You don't even need to know what Starro is to be unsettled by this;
- The high pitched noise that grows stronger as you get closer (most likely something psychic).
- The silhouette as you enter the room.
- The slight glow as you get closer.
- The eye staring at you, wherever you are.
- The slight twitching.
- The lack of blinking, where you want it to do something other than stare into your soul

Finding Starro in a canister is so creepy. I got shivers from this.

I just love the logic. "A crazy starfish alien that mind controls people in a tank? Let's apply explosive gel and let him loose." lol

I never thought I'd ever be creeped out by a giant starfish

Anyone else find it scarier that there’s no real jump scare? The fact that starro is just waiting there patiently terrifies me

I always love things like this in games where you go underwater and you see something in the murk or the gloom whether it's a kraken or megalodon or an angler fish.
It's absurdly terrifying underwater.

It’s crazy to find that there because that means the amusement park was keeping him hidden so they could showcase the “Starfish Freak” which was probably some random guy being mind controlled by Starro. Pretty sick.

*Starts spraying explosive gel on the container*
Me: Why would you do that?! That's like in Arkham Asylum when people tried to release Clayface!

I wish there was more to this than just an easter egg. Something interactive at least.

This might be the creepiest Easter egg in the Arkham series, the implications of it are terrifying.

I think it's interesting how the main game references various Justice League members, and now here's the first villain the Justice League ever fought. Justice League game maybe?

From one of JLA's greatest threats to an amusement park attraction. So sad :'(

Knowing what Starro can do it scares me that it is only in a glass container

This is where DC are keeping him after the death of Infinite Crisis.

I wish you could let him out and get a game over where he takes over Batgirl's mind. That'd be really neat. Interactable Easter Eggs would be fantastic.
