This, in my opinion, is a better variation on the theme. You can see Bernard do this a number of times, whereas many people stick with the Jeff Porcaro version. John Bonham does a combo of both. Great video. This is the best version imho. A little harder, but worth the work.👍

I think that's a bit more complicated then the PS. Didn't think there were so many doubles on the snare.

Tip/shaft on the hi-hat, not tip/tip.

The notation on screen doesn’t match what you’re playing. The second kick in beat 3 is written one note later than it is played.

Also, neither what is played or what is written is the Purdie shuffle. It’s just a shuffle.
