Peace With Yourself – Dr. Charles Stanley

The fact that the word peace is used 353 times in the Bible is a clear indication of its importance. Yet national conflicts, political disagreements, broken relationships, and internal anxiety often characterize the world in which we live.


Jesus came to offer us a better way: “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful” (John 14:27).


In this message, Dr. Stanley explains how Christ can set us free from thoughts that steal our peace. We don’t have to haul around a load of insecurity, inadequacy, and hurt when we have a Savior who can heal and deliver us, replacing our burden with His peace and joy.

I had joy I had peace, I don't like conflict, but I'm seventy this past week....and I've lost peace, joy and self confidence. I read my bible, I meditate I pray and I listen for his guidance..I do this every day. I forgive over and over trying to make a difference... I give it to God, but somehow I take it back and I don't want to be this way anymore..pray for me..thank you. I praise God daily all that I have are blessings from him. Amen!
