I waited and waited for the Type R to be released, and when it finally was my dealer said “yeah, it might be a year before we get an allocation if not more”… I decided to buy a Supra instead without even ever seeing one in the flesh. No regrets. It’s awesome

I owned a Type R before my 6MT Supra. One thing the Type R will always have over the Supra is how smooth and crisp the engagement is between gears - meaning it’s satisfying to drive no matter the commute. I also miss the low insurance rates, lol. The one thing I don’t miss is the FWD wheel hop. Both great cars.

I own both of these cars (FK8 an a AT A90) and they're the perfect compliment. Where one falls short the other excels. Both can be track weapons as well.

Love the unorthodox comparisons. Makes the channel standout. Any chance you can get a base or 911T to compare to the Supra. Both are 3L turbo cars with non-V6 engine layouts. See if the Supra keeps up with the 100k gold standard

as expected. The supra is just fast and underrated. Civic stood no chance at all. Civic is fast for the category of car its in, the price is a different issue.

Supra with a manual is pure perfection, so lesson learned today is don't waste your money on a CivicType R if you can afford a Supra!!😄
