The Strange Case of Alice Cooper is a live concert video release of Alice Cooper, first released on VHS in 1979. The concert was filmed on April 9, 1979 during Cooper's 'Madhouse Rock' Tour in support of the album "From The Inside" in San Diego, California.

I was at this show in the 4th row when I was 15. I was a boy not quite a man but I liked it. :)

Born In 82 this Was one of my first favorite songs. My dad bought me my first tape Anthrax Fist Full of Metal which they covered this song. Which taught me the lyrics. One day AC version came on thought I was so cool knowing the same song as my ol man. Something I’ll never forget.

I'm glad Alice survived the 70s. It was looking a little iffy. His 2018 rendention of Eighteen is fantistic!

Saw this tour in B'ham Ala. ACDC Best Concert, EVER! (i knew not of acdc, & was BA-LOWN AWAY, Then Alice Came Out & killed!) omg!
I was in the pit & the crowd condensed so tightly I was sqooshed up and my feet were off the ground for a bit now & then. The stage buckled up from the crowd push, they had to stop the show to back off the pressure to flatten the stage. TRUE.

I didn’t know just how close Alice Cooper came to dying...it’s funny tho, I can see a direct link here from Ziggy Stardust, Diamond Dogs, Thin White Duke to Alice Cooper. Almost as if when Bowie cleaned up his act in the late ‘70’s, Alice picked up the mantle and ran with it, pushing himself and his band to the very edge of sanity. I don’t know how I missed this entire era of Alice, but I did. I remember defending him to my Mum in the mid ‘70’s...it was just a stage persona, off stage he was really just a nice guy who played golf...lol.

A;lice had a awesome touring band! three guys played on Lou Reed's Rock n Roll Animal and one played with Elton John for decades
