PLEASE Don’t Buy ANY RTX 30 GPUs

Graphics cards have been coming down in price really fast, but I still can’t recommend you buy basically any Nvidia’s GPUs whatsoever, and here's why.

Now I know it’s tempting when you see an RTX 3080 for $1,000 when it was over $2,000 not long ago, but you have to keep in mind this card launched at $700 over a year and a half ago, and buying it for way more than that now would be a huge mistake, especially with the RTX 40 series set to launch later this year.

Not only that, but AMD cards are being sold for MUCH cheaper right now and are likely to fall BELOW their MSRP in the near future.

Plus GPU prices have been and still are dropping VERY quickly, so even if you aren't going to buy a next gen or AMD card I would at least wait for prices to drop closer to their MSRP.

Nvidia GPUs such as the RTX 3090, RTX 3080, RTX 3070, and RTX 3060 Ti should be near MSRP very soon just hold strong!

Yeah I had that same mindset when 2000 series came out. Nothing is confirmed for 4000 series yet and that's even more murky when the 3090 to got randomly released. Also very possible that they could jump back up in price

3080 and 3090s are going to still be great cards for years to come. We don't know what the 40 series is going to be like when it comes or what their availability will be. I don't know if I'd buy 3080 for over 1000 right now, but if it drops lower its a great value. Take the known commodity over the prospect of a 40series

I got a 3070 for $640 from microcenter yesterday if u look u can find close to msrp which is $500. Considering I paid the same price for my 980 in the past I’d say I’m glad I took what I could get.
