Journalist Tucker Carlson has declared Moscow is "so much nicer" than any city in the United States, days after releasing his exclusive interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Speaking at the World Government Summit in Dubai on Monday, Carlson praised Moscow for its cleanliness, safety, and beauty.

"What was radicalising, very shocking, and very disturbing for me was the city of Moscow, where I’d never been — the biggest city in Europe with 13 million people, it is so much nicer than any city in my country," he said.

Carlson's remarks follow his recent trip to 'The Third Rome' where he became the first Western journalist to interview President Putin since before Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Recorded last Tuesday and released on Thursday, the interview mainly focused on the Ukraine conflict, which is nearing the two-year mark.

No one should be suprised when people suggest a simple way to improve your cities is to enforce law, prevent crime, and keep homeless people from turning your streets into an open sewers.

I have traveled in Russia twice. Once in 1991-1994. Again in 2019. The differences were incredible. Russia has always been beautiful, however under communism you could tell it was run down. What Putin has done for Russia is honestly amazing. Everything Carlson said is true. Throughout Russia, It was clean, sophisticated, safe..! The people are beautiful. So warm and welcoming. It is shameful what our governments, our media and our academia have done in spreading utter lies about Russia. They talk about Russian [and Chinese] propaganda and brainwashing, we are the ones who have suffered under propaganda and brainwashing. I say, very strongly, before you pass judgment on a nation… go there and visit first.

As an American that lives in California I have to agree!
I have visited Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Sochi, and Kazan, and they were all beautiful AND safe!

He's correct. I've been to Moscow and St. Petersburg multiple times. No major US (blue) city holds a candle to these two.

Because is true. I visited Moscow in summer 2019 and it was super clean, a very beautiful city. I cannot say the same about Rome, Amsterdam, Paris, New York or London where I live.

Not just Moscow\. Many videos show that even in poorer republics, the streets are clean, no homeless or drug addicts sleeping on the sidewalks.

I lived in Moscow for a year. And he's right. It's a beautiful clean city which you feel safe in. I would never return to America after my one visit to New York, but i would happily end my days in Russia.

I've lived 6 years in Moscow, and what Tucker is saying is true. When leadership and morality break down, chaos ensues. Leadership based on Godly standards is key.

I live on the rural coast of california, anywhere in the US that has a population of over 1, 000 has become a dystopian nightmare.

I travelled the world quite a bit, but when I finally visited the US I was shocked at how segregated it was and how many beggars were around.

I am from Moscow. Here many people praise their cities, but with Moscow (13 million) it is correct to compare large cities, at least from 5 million. The main thing is not the beauty of the streets, but the comfort of living for its residents. I myself will not praise my city, but there are many videos of foreigners living in Moscow in different languages, who are interested can watch for themselves.
