That is a very filling 100 calories as well. My desire for snacking after dinner stopped when I started including boiled potatoes

YASS 👏 potatoes are IMO one of the best weight loss foods. Not only is it relatively low in calories but also ranks the highest on the satiety index. It literally throws all other foods out of the park w.r.t satiety. However, potatoes can absorb a lot of fat when cooked. Any type of pure fat such as oil isn’t satiating at all. That’s why we overconsume deep fried potatoes, mashed potatoes with tons of cream in it. If you learn how to cook potatoes without all the fat (hint: watch anabolic cooking channels), you will unlock one of the most powerful weight loss hacks. Potatoes for the win!

Not to me carrots are the best carb for me. Low in cals tasty and full of fibre each to their own. Also I would love to see a vid on overrated diet/ cutting foods. My number 1 would be oatmeal. It tastes great with the right whey flavours but is just not filling to me. Give me the same cals in egg whites and veggies and I’m good for hours oats I’m hungry in an hour. IMO oats can taste great but are poor for satiety. I’d be interested to hear if anyone else agrees or disagrees about oats. Great content Johnathan as always

I used to eat baked chicken breast and i got hunger prangs even when i added plenty of veegies to my plate..then came mr potato ..i i clude 1 baked potato with my protein dinner and it is a total game changer...keeps you full for so long ..i absolutely love it..

So I’m Asian and I always eat my proteins with plain white rice but I wanna try potatoes now since I heard they’re more satiating. How would the simplest way to cook these be? Simply boiling a white whole potato and adding salt and pepper? Idk but I really don’t need to fancy it up.

Total game changer! I eat 250 grams of potatoes at lunch along with 155 grams of my protein source along with other balanced macro micro nutrients and let me tell ya ! You get more satiating feeling on potatoes! Way less calories than 250 grams of white rice

Is this cooked or raw? My understanding is 122 grams of raw potato would turn into about 80 grams of cooked potato because of moisture lost (so 122 grams of cooked potato is the same as roughly 180 grams of raw potato)

Russet potatoes are white. Are those what you’re referring to?
Still, I have an issue with getting hungry an hour after I eat and feeling really thirsty all the time (I’m ‘not’ diabetic, I was just checked)
