We bought a M5 in Gibraltar in 1988. Drove it all over Europe for over 200, 000 miles. Lots of 100+ MPH trips on the motorways. My girlfriend’s brother totaled it on the Elisabeth bridge. He claimed the brakes were “wrong” when he locked it up on black ice. Later it came out that the only other car he had ever driven was a Trabant.
