I'm just very excited that the junkenstein's lab mode is popular enough that it got its own balance patch! Who would have thought that the devs actually giving us a taste of what we thought we were getting when the game was announced would go over so well.

There is a reason Sombra got a nerf as Widow gets a Mythic skin.

The Sombra changes are a net nerf, make no mistake. The invis changes were needed quality of life, and the emp earn rate was so slow that this just brings it back in line with what it should be.

Coming out of invis automatically when you hack is idiotic with her new kit. You HAVE to let your invis run down to the last second or two before you hack to ensure you have another translocator to escape with. They need to reduce your trans cooldown if you manually exit stealth. They should be rewarding you for not sitting waiting in stealth. There’s too much “hang around time” with current cool-downs

Its crazy how many changes the make to sombra I have no idea how to play her any more. The amount of time and money(cosmetics) I spent on her are completely wasted lul

The sombra change was NOT a buff, if anything it only makes it worse. The compensation for emp doesn’t mean shit because you can’t engage without getting punished at all.

You have 5 seconds of stealth, IF you don’t hack which is ridiculous. Basically impossible to set up any plays. I can’t stand overwatch devs man

I am with you. I think the Version with permanent invisibility was much better. They should roll that back and just nerve virus or make it a complete other ability.

The whole Sombra rework will be reverted after that Widow mythic is out of the shop.

Widow will own a lower level team because nobody works together enough to even have a good counter, usually have to rely on ults or the other members of the team making mistakes and capitalizing. Widow and sombra were a perfect foil to eachother because when Widow gets her ult she can see the invisible sombra. I don't know I just learned sombra last season now they go and do this and now she's unplayable

thank you for clarifying your orisa stance, I would agree that she's not a big playmaker and just really good at being a wall in the way, which I honestly feel is like half of the tank experience in OW rn

I think sombra's changes are more like a nerf since hack now completely ends stealth. At this point they should just remove stealth since it does basically nothing in her kit anymore...

i miss having an off tank to bully the widowmaker. it feels like the devs are just relying on sombra to keep her down now and its not really healthy for the game.

I love I remember when juno came out freedo was like "yeah she seems mediocre, her ult is like a budget valkyrie"
And now it's "Juno is super solid and has the strongest ult in the game" (after a few nerfs).

But that's how it goes, as people continue getting experience with the characters. For me juno's biggest issue is that she's difficult to hit because she's always high up and has a lot of movespeed buffs. If you're facing mercy and juno and your DPS don't pick up the slack, the enemy supports will just never die.

In regard to the sombra, I find that her new game loop is far more active in the cycle than the permanent invis amd with proper awareness and map knowledge you can live in the enemy backing for basically eternity. And with good planning you can feel extremely hard to pin down
