How to make a Phenolphthalein Indicator Solution (0.05%wt)

The strength of the indicator solution can be adjusted depending on your strength needs. I made a 0.05%wt solution because that is all I had. In general, a lot of indicator solutions are actually 0.5%wt (0.5g used).

This is just a quick video on how to make a phenolphthalein indicator solution. A few drops of this solution can be used as an indicator in acid base titrations or other pH dependent applications.

Few drops of phenolphthalein indicator was accidentally spilled in my hands. I felt some irritation in my skin. then, I rinsed my hands in tap water. Will the phenolphthalein indicator cause carcinogenicity? Please reply me:(

its always we use half water and half alcohol? like for example we need 100ml so we have 50ml water and 50ml alcohol isn't it?
