Just the other day, I learned there are male papaya trees. Girl, tell me how I waited almost 3 years for my male papaya plant to bear fruit. 😂 If it wasn't for my uncle who told me, I'd still be swearing on it "just needing a little more time." 😂 He told me you can "force" them to bear fruit... but that sounds like assault to me and I don't want to disrespect Mother Nature. 😶

I grew up in Durban in South Africa (coastal). We basically dry the seeds on the window sill. Then you throw them in the ground outside on fertile soil and it doesn't take long. I'll ask my mom to take a picture of her 'forest' one day.

You inspired me to grow plants from seed and the hardest part is waiting and it need patience. I start from simple seeds like peas, corns, brinjal etc and I am soo happy when each one of them sprouts ❤ thankyou ❤

Only recently I learned that papaya is an exotic fruit to some. Where I live, we just throw papaya seeds on the ground and the next time we notice, they've grown a meter or so, unless ofc chickens got them first 😅 they're cheap here and I don't like the taste

You need the yellow papaya seeds and just put it in a pot with soil and water it once a day

I’m sprouting some bell pepper seeds now. Gonna put them into soil in a day or so but I think I’m going to say the egg shell method with a few of them to see which works better. I’ll let you know. 😅

What are you gonna do when your plant is too big to be indoors in the winter? I'm asking for myself, I'm moving somewhere that's very cold in the winter but I want to have my fruit trees in the garden. :(
