Lawrence: Elon Musk suffered a humiliating demotion by Donald Trump

It would solve so many problems if we made it mandatory for any candidate, appointee, Congressional and Judicial members and staff to have a security clearance, a REAL one from the Pentagon to enter into consideration, and maintain it to serve. This is not currently required, adn the result is we have a government filled with foreign assets. Everybody need to get clearedl If you don't pass, you can't serve! We need to do it at the BEGINNING of the process to avoid drama. It's required in the military and it needs to be required for Government or Judicial service.
