Ever hear a deer make THIS sound?!

The sound of this sika doe (I think) whimpering away from the spotted deer, a little Axis spike buck, made me laugh. I have heard a lot of deer barks, screams, grunts, bugles, snorts, wails, and yips but I can't say I have ever heard this particular vocalization before! How funny.

Sorry for the digital interference. This camera runs off of the cell phone towers in a very remote area, which makes for poor audio (and is why I usually put music over the wildlife cam videos). But sometimes we get some really cool animal sounds that are worth saving to me, and this channel is all about what brings me joy.
