Wolves don’t let themselves be known. You got yourself a well fed coyote.

He’s the “nice guy” who wants to bring you back to his “friends”

If you think that's big, you should see a real wolf (that's a coyote).

I love that they’re growling now like they weren’t just outside playing with the coyote. 😂

He’s scary full grown coyote but trust me the size of a wolf would have your pitch much higher.

Such a beautiful animal. I’m so glad you were able to get them inside before anyone got hurt 😊

“I would throw something at it” tells me everything I need to know about your survival skills

It was luring the dogs to the pack.
Glad they went back in

The way they're all back inside with mom & Dad and now growling, realizing it wasn't ok.

Coyotes are surprisingly playful, but still not something to leave your dogs with. Glad they’re fine

One of the first coyotes I’ve seen that doesn’t look all raggedy.

Oh bless it's heart. Maybe it just wants to be loved. It looks like somebody is feeding it. It acts like it still wants to play.

I’m not sure you should be worried about that toy but be grateful your dogs came back in

Coyotes are very playful and can actually successfully breed with dogs. We had a half coyote half german shepherd mix growing up named sheba. She was literally the BEST dog we ever had. Still had most of her coyote instincts including denning (which drove my father madddd with the holes she would dig) but also very loyal and loving like the shepherd.

Coyotes can also be deceiving in packs and can habe 1 come out to lure other prey away to the pack. So it could be either scenario here.

I found a coyote pup camping in texas when i was 19... It was almost dead and we nurses it back to health and raised it.... She (Lucy) lived for 12 years and required a lot of exercise but was a good pet.... A lot people have coyotes for pets but it's not like owning a dog... They require a lot of attention and activity and a different basically raw diet... It's been 23 years and i still miss her❤❤❤

“He took the little piggy?” … it should have stayed in the brick house

Very healthy coyote. Look how thick he is in the middle of winter! Good for him. Wolves are much bigger, at least twice the size of a husky.
