Somewhere out there, you’ve helped a kid get closer to his dreams. It’s immeasurable how thankful I am for this

I am actually very thankful for this video. Cleared up a lot of questions I had about the Computer Engineering field and cleared my doubts of going back to college to get this degree. There is so much potential and growth in this field. Thanks so much Jake

Hope Jake reads this,

I've been thinking a lot about getting a double major in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. I know I could take Computer Engineering as my major. However, here are some of the reasons why I would be interested in a double major.
1. I want to study both fields at a deeper level and not just take a couple of extra classes like in a minor. For example, understand those concepts that a Computer Scientist would not study and those that an Electrical Engineer would not study in a Computer Science major.
2. Increase my chances of finding a job and being more competitive. I know that Electrical Engineering is flexible and could apply to jobs that a Computer Scientist could not.
3. Avoid being unemployed. In the future, if I were not able to find a job in Electrical Engineering, I would have the option of finding a job in Computer Science and so on.
4. Build a second source of income. I would not only want to depend on a source of income that comes only from my degree, but I would like to have at least two sources of income.
5. Experience the best of both worlds, and if possible in the future, be able to study two masters.
I know that when one studies a double major, it takes more time and money. However, I would care more about job security, and I think the best way is to have two bachelor's.
In this scenario, what would be the most advisable thing to do, to study Computer Engineering or a double major in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science?
Please, can someone advise me? I feel lost

A video on engineers' roles in renewable energy would be so cool! Personally I am really into the move to solar.

Currently in my junior year as a CE major. Definitely true about more opportunities in software than in hardware

I'm computer engineering student. Programming, science and calculus is so hard but I love to explore more about this field.

I have a Bachelors in CS and never took Circuit classes. I don’t even know RTOS or Embedded Sys programming. Thinking of getting another Bachelors (for fun and hopefully for work) in Computer Engineering. Also torn between EE vs CpE. But I’m more into Circuits and Computers than Wireless and Communications Engineering. Making antennas can be fun though.

can a computer engineer make devices like heads up displays, augmented reality and virtual reality interfaces ?

Loved this video. Can you do one to differentiate between Information Systems degrees and CS/CE degrees? I'm not an engineer. I have a business degree with an emphasis is information systems (MIS/BIS back in the day). I feel like employers frequently confuse titles by throwing "engineer" in there for say a systems administrator or analyst position. I hate this. I'm very careful to entertain "engineer" positions because the field and credential deserve some respect, and where it seems employers are all to willing to treat it like a prestige moniker. Administrators don't typically "graduate" to engineer based on seniority.

Another great video!

Now i must decide between Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. I enjoy solving and analyzing circuits, coding is something I am also interested in and the power grid/utility. I need to decide after this coming spring semester for transfer reasons.

Thanks!

Decent content but sad to see that the Rubik's cube disappeared from the background props.
