How timely, I recently got a Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coletto (a 500 and a 1000) gels with a pencil option. They're much easier to change as the hinged top opens and you drop in any color you like for each slot (the slider is part of the cartridge) so you can make some interesting combinations.

You can also refill it without unscrewing it. First press the pencil selector, next press and hold the refill button at the top. Now you can easily insert a pencil lead

My lead was falling out and I fixed it by taking it apart and knocking the back of the mechanism against the table several times. Some small lead particles fell out and it went back to pushing the lead correctly

Have you tried pulling out the entire mechanical pencil? Or have you tried switching the mechanical pencil part with a pen refill? I was hoping to switch out mine and don't know if it would work. Hoping you've had some experience. Thanks :)

Is it possible to remove the pencil completely and swap in another pen cartridge in its place? So in this case it would now be a 4 instead of a 3+1?

I have a munhwa pen which in 4 colour ball point pen 0.7 and 1 mechanical pencil, and its such pain in the head as i cant refill it nor write with in because it doesn't have pushing down from the top (if you have it please make tutorial for it)

i’ve got a pen like this and the led it comes with and won’t fit down the metal part where it’s ment to come out of. it kinda stops before coming out and gets stuck
