How To Refill Any Mechanical Pencil

Do you have a mechanical pencil and you aren't sure how to refill its lead? It can be a confusing process on some pencils and it's not like (most) pencils come with instruction manuals. And even if you know how to put lead into a a normal mechanical pencil, like a Bic, it can be a lot harder to fill a vintage pencil or a multi-pen that has a pencil in it.

Check out this video and figure out how to fill your pencil. If you have any questions please leave them below and I'll try to help out!

Nice to see this kind of videos, I wish you had included the classic screw action pencils, those are really not easy to figure out for a modern user since most are front feeders and sometimes use a "small" or shorter lead.
Keep the good work up!

Take care of your tools and they'll take care of you. I have old gift sets with mechanical pencils with uncommon graphite sizes. Even my oldest Scripto Classic works like it did about forty years ago. Still have a healthy supply of vintage erasers refills in film cannisters. Never had problems with my iconic Zebra M-301and doubt I ever will. Zebra's neat little >4" 0.5mm stainless pencil can easily be refilled as is their 5" "#2" black 7mm.
